Xavier J. Polk,
Ph.D. has been a licensed psychologist in the state of California since
1988. He founded Behavioral Systems
Analysis (BSA) that same year
to provide individuals and groups with behavioral services.

As a hands-on psychologist specializing
in applied behavior
analysis, developmental disabilities,
and the management and treatment
of behavioral problems, his treatment approach is eclectic. Dr. Polk believes
that addressing the needs of the
individual requires understanding the interaction between body, mind, emotion, behavior and environment. And in doing so, he teaches the people in the individuals' circle of support how to obtain and maintain positive behavioral outcomes.
